Job Overview


The HR Manager will lead the Human Resource function in developing and implementing Human Resource Strategy to provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture. He/she will act as a change agent in identifying opportunities to improve workforce and HR process effectiveness to support business needs and eventually enabling business success.


Duties and Responsibilities

a.     Builds systematic and scalable recruiting programs to create a sustainable talent pipeline; maintains a forward looking staffing plan that aligns with operating strategies.

b.     Designs induction programs for the organization based on industry best practices.

c.     Performs difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing hiring disputes and the like.

d.     Ensures all employment practices comply with the Philippine laws and local regulations.

e.     Partners with department leaders in designing talent development opportunities.

f.      Drives competency development programs for all position levels; ensures timely implementation of the annual training calendar.

g.     Manages and ensures efficient and timely administration of the performance review process to ensure effectiveness and equity within the organization.

h.     Works with line managers in the design and delivery of appropriate and relevant Performance Development Plans and Performance Improvement Plans for their staff; to commission and evaluate agreed internally delivered interventions.

i.      Drives talent management and succession plan strategies to ensure provision of challenging opportunities to key talents; spearheads the identification process and the developmental interventions including coaching and mentoring to support staff development.

j.      Creates annual compensation strategy through market analysis and pay surveys; leads the conduct of job evaluation, recommends, plans, and implements pay structure revisions.

k.     Ensures the administration of the employee benefits program; studies and assesses employee benefit needs and trends; revises and recommends suitable benefits programs to the management as needed.

l.      Delivers strong analytical advice on internal compensation issues, market data, salary surveys and compensation practices to make recommendations and influence business decisions.

m.   Develops and drives employee engagement initiatives; manages the implementation of the annual engagement programs and activities

n.     Drives the organizational strategies pertaining to employee Health and Safety; ensures timely implementation of annual health and safety program calendar.

o.     Provides advice and counsel to managers and employees on complex employee relations matters by partnering with the leadership team and managing employee relations.

p.     Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.

q.     Ensures alignment and consistency of all human resource systems with the adopted corporate culture.

r.     Manages the utilization of company website and social media accounts for human resource announcements particularly recruiting, culture, and company information.

s.     Regularly works to improve processes; recommends suggestions on policies to improve operations and its productivity.

t.      Complies with the company’s health/safety policies and procedures and that of DOH, DOLE OSHA guidelines.

u.     Conducts/attends seminars or training to further develop performance and improve level of confidence in doing the work.

v.     Performs other related activities as may be deemed necessary and/or directed by immediate superior or the Management.



  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

  2. Master’s Degree or Masteral units in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Organization Development is a plus.

  3. At least eight (8) years experience in Human Resource, including at least five (5) years solid experience in a lead role.
