SWU PHINMA is part of PHINMA Education, the education arm of PHINMA Corporation with business interests in energy, hotels, housing, steel products, and strategic consulting. It aims to serve the nation by providing accessible and high-quality private school education to Filipinos nationwide. PHINMA Education owns and operates a network of six schools in the country. In 2016, it expanded to Myanmar through the establishment of the PHINMA Training Center in Yangon.

PHARMACY INSTRUCTOR/FACULTY

Department: College of Pharmacy

Job Responsibilities:

• To facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and skills with confidence and direction, geared towards the development of the analytical and creative faculties of students.

• To meet his/her scheduled classes conscientiously and be available for consultation.

• To determine course requirements for their classes and evaluate and grade the performance of their students in accordance with departmental policies on course content and grading system.

• To continually explore areas of inquiry through various forms of research and other study that will address the requirements of the discipline and the development concerns of the society.

• To continuously develop their knowledge of and skills within the discipline to which they belong.

• To be involved in discipline-related consultancies or projects beyond the confines of the academic community for professional growth.

• To participate in various councils/committees/boards that program/plan/implement curricular and/or co-curricular activities, and to engage in peer evaluation and academic advising upon request.

• To participate in community service either in school-sponsored community extension projects or in their own community/sectoral/professional organizations, in government/non-government, and international organizations.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

• Licensed Pharmacist

• Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree is a PLUS

• Must have one (1) calendar year of the equivalent of full-time clinical experience

• Needs to have good communication skills and the ability to put across his/ her point well
