Job Description

We are looking for a full-time permanent DevOps Engineer, who will be working with an experienced team of developers.

Salary Range

30,000 - 60,000 for Mid-Level

60,000 - 180,000 for Senior Level

DEVOPS ENGINEER

Duties and responsibilities

As a member of the DevOps team, you will be involved with the following tasks;

• Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments.

• Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.

• Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency.

• Administer, build and manage Linux servers.

• Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring.

• Continuously evaluate existing systems and improve them.

Experience

Must Have Skills

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with DevOps, configuration, automation and operations.

• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services

• Configuration management solutions to meet the needs of application deployment and management

• Previous experience implementing continuous delivery and DevOps solutions

• Programming languages including Python / Perl / Java / shell scripting / SQL

• Software Development Platforms including Docker / Kubernetes / Hadoop / Openstack

• DevOps and Agile practices and CI tools such as Jira, GetHub, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, AWS exposure preferred.  

Preferred Skills

• Good troubleshooting skills across the entire infrastructure stack, expand monitoring capabilities and manage technical operations.

• Build solutions that move data from internal solutions to cloud-based solutions.

• Systems and Databases including Linux / Unix / Postgres / Oracle / Hadoop / Virtualization Technologies (KVM, VMware, Hypervisor, bare metal etc.)

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar relevant field
