CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER

As Project Engineer you would actively work with and under the supervision of Senior Operation Executive. You would play a key role in making sure that our project are continuously up to standards with your extensive experience.

The Duties and Responsibilities of this position may include:

  • Oversees and supervises on-site construction work and relaying instructions 

  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating site activities, and resolving site issues or technical problems;

  • Determines project schedule by coordinating equipment/materials delivery schedule and sequence of site activities;

  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and timelines; assigning site personnel and supervising subcontractors.

  • Determines project specifications by studying system design, client requirements, and installation and functionality standards;

  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and system design plans and schematics;

Reports to the construction manager as required;

  • Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management, are met.

  • Reports any concerns that might negatively impact projected cost and time estimates

  • Prepares work schedules and sequencing onsite tasks;

  • Collaborates with other construction project stakeholders as required;

  • Ensures that construction industry safety regulations are followed;

  • Provide official updates/reports of the development of construction and project as whole to management with analysis and recommendation; and

  • Performs other tasks assigned by the superior.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical)

  • Licensed Engineer is a plus.

  • 3-4 years’ experience Electo-Mechanical Facilities Management.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations

  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong familiarity and working knowledge of affordable housing laws and anti-discrimination legislation

  • Team oriented and willing to train.
