Responsibilities:

• Analyze user needs and designs software for client use

• Assess the feasibility of design and project parameters within time and cost constraints

• Develop code based on business requirements documentation and user specifications

• Build and execute unit/integration tests to ensure the quality of code

• Maintain existing software

• Monitor and assist with software testing and validation procedures and programming

• Assist with software deployment; ensures application operates within established specifications

• Gather and evaluates user feedback to enhance usability, performance, and functionality

• Design databases for specific application areas

• Collaborate with systems analysts/engineers, programmers, and teammates in the Software Development Team to design systems to support required applications

• Ensure compatibility of custom tools developed and integrated into third-party applications

• Advise internal teams and stakeholders on software maintenance

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of both front and back-end languages/systems. (ReactJS, ApolloJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL, PHP, Git, Tableau API, SQL, Snowflake)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required

• Excellent understanding of good UI/UX practices

• Five years of experience as a software developer or engineer preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines

• Experience working with Docker is preferred

• Experience with AWS preferred

• Ability to learn new coding languages and technologies

• Experience with Agile development processes

• Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 50 Mbps bandwidth

• Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
