Merchandising Assistant

 

Job Description:

  • Provide administrative support to purchasing and inventory process of merchandise.

  • Coordinate with vendors and develop new strategies for the department.

  • Prepare and process all purchase orders for brand metrics

  • Monitor all purchase orders and ensure delivery within the timeframe.

  • Negotiate with suppliers on stock delivery, pricing for volume orders, sell-out, and disposal support.

  • Create and execute product promotions for slow-moving items and new product launches.

  • Prepare and maintain various sales reports on weekly basis.

  • Supervise and monitor all damage goods and returns by customers

  • Create planogram for new and renovated stores

  • Perform any related task that may be assigned from time to time

Education and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing or related course

  • 1-2 years proven experience as Merchandising Assistant

  • Fluent in both oral and written English communication

  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel

  • Organized, efficient, reliable, and flexible in a fast-paced environment

  • Team player, honest, creative, and can adapt to change easily
