JOB SUMMARY:
The Tier II Support Technician position requires a driven, independent thinker to complete his/her job function of deploying, maintaining, administrating, and resolving technical problems.The Tier II Support Technician will be responsible for Tier I support escalations and specific server duties as assigned.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and hypervisors
Automation and scripting of processes
Use established practices and standard procedures to complete assignments
Make decisions and exercise judgment within clearly established procedures or practice
Works with minimal supervision
Troubleshoot hardware and software using diagnostic tools
Ensure and support maximum up-time for managed systems
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience, including hands-on computer and networking troubleshooting skills
Minimum of an Associate degree with major in Information Technology or Information Systems, or equivalent
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, listening, and analytical skills
Microsoft certifications are a plus
Powershell, Python, or VBS experience is a plus
Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Windows 10 Pro, Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 operating system proficiencies
Microsoft 365 Office, Teams experience
2016, 2019 Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio experience
Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
Willing to work on-site
Work Schedule: Day Shift
