The Tier II Support Technician position requires a driven, independent thinker to complete his/her job function of deploying, maintaining, administrating, and resolving technical problems.The Tier II Support Technician will be responsible for Tier I support escalations and specific server duties as assigned.



  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and hypervisors 

  • Automation and scripting of processes

  • Use established practices and standard procedures to complete assignments

  • Make decisions and exercise judgment within clearly established procedures or practice

  • Works with minimal supervision

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software using diagnostic tools

  • Ensure and support maximum up-time for managed systems


  • 5+ years of experience, including hands-on computer and networking troubleshooting skills 

  • Minimum of an Associate degree with major in Information Technology or Information Systems, or equivalent

  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, listening, and analytical skills

  • Microsoft certifications are a plus

  • Powershell, Python, or VBS experience is a plus

  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills

  • Windows 10 Pro, Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 operating system proficiencies

  • Microsoft 365 Office, Teams experience 

  • 2016, 2019 Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio experience

  • Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner

  • Willing to work on-site
