FPD is a food processing company primarily engaged in the manufacture of the globally renowned 7D brand of dried mangoes and other fruit products.
We are looking for a:
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervises the conduct of the inspections of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process and finished product
  • Directly responsible in checking if the CCP's are properly and timely recorded during production
  • Verifies that the product labels are in compliance with the intended customers’ requirements
  • Ensures that all Process Control and HACCP documents are properly accomplished
  • Submits the documents to the HACCP Team Leader on a regular basis for review
  • Discusses with the Production in-charge immediately any deviations noted during the production.
  • Accomplishes a Hold Notice Form in case the deviations of the products need to be further observed and evaluated
  • May assist in the development, review and revisions of Food Safety Program
  • Initiates the proper implementation of corrective and preventive action resulting from GMP audit findings, site evaluation, customer complaint and deviation in critical limits
  • Ensures FIFO of raw materials and finished products
  • Establishes procedures to ensure traceability of raw material, packaging materials and finished products
  • Evaluates sensory properties of retained samples every two months (after shipment)
  • Evaluates samples for sensory evaluation for every lot number
  • Performs testing and sampling of products in cases where new process or new inputs is introduced to production
  • Trains new endorsed personnel and personnel violating GMP or SSOP policies
  • Investigates customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  • Identifies areas for improvement in the quality system
  • Coordinates and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
  • Conducts studies to reduce waste and increase efficiency
  • Assists in food research and development project
  • As needed, works as a reliever Quality Assurance in the production line/s or conducts other duties as instructed by the HACCP Team Leader/QA Head
  • Assists in the compliance of Occupational Safety and Health regulations and in the development of safety-related policies
  • As needed, performs other duties and responsibilities as may be deemed appropriate by the Management
  • A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Food Technology or any related field
  • Preferably with at least three (3) years working experience in a food manufacturing company or any related industry
  • Has adequate knowledge in GMP and HACCP food safety certifications
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Excellent problem solving, organization, and communication skills
  • Can easily adapt to an organizational culture with systems and procedures
  • Capable of working with less supervision and ability to multitask
  • Has a mindset to learn and experience new things
  • Can work under pressure and can meet deadlines
  • Works well with others
  • Normal working hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 5:30pm
  • Current working hours due to pandemic: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm
