PURCHASER

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• The position will require the person to source, canvass, evaluate suppliers and engage in  commercial negotiations 

• Communicate with requesting parties the complete information regarding requested supply and  materials to ensure accuracy of purchased goods and timely delivery of materials ∙ Get price quotations via email or phone calls from several suppliers before going out to save  time and resources 

• Responsible in coming up with list of reliable and approved suppliers that meets company  needs, as well as elimination of suppliers as deemed appropriate 

• Negotiate and haggle with vendors to ensure we get the best market pricing as often as possible ∙ Maintain a catalogue file of our mostly used materials and update pricing and current suppliers ∙ They will ensure maintenance of complete and accurate purchase record to be submitted to the  Finance department 

• Must be amenable to perform other errands from time to time like bank transactions and other bill payments. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Preferably a graduate of IT / Administration / Management / Logistic or equivalent ∙ Preferably with experience in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management and/or  Logistics 

• Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel 

• Good time management skills is a must 

• With good moral character, hardworking, physically fit, honest and resourceful

Rest Day Schedule: Sunday 

Work Schedule: Mon-Sat is 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Supplemental Pay: 

• 13th month salary 

• Service incentive leave 

• Overtime pay
