EMAPTA is currently looking for an experienced Java Developer


Our client is a cloud-based communications platform provider that aims to bring all your communication channels like email, text messaging, web chatting, in one accessible space.  They work with large corporations, SMBs and small start up to eradicate communication efficiencies and redundancies so that their staff and clients can connect in new and productive ways.


Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to work breakdown, design, evaluation, planning and estimating product features

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of practices and solutions

  • Work with other members on achieving team goals

  • Take on coding tasks

  • Contribute to all agile cadences of the team such as planning sessions and retrospectives

  • Work within your development plan to build and extend your technical and non-technical skills

  • Provide after-hours support as part of our application teams weekly support roster


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related principles

  • Excellent knowledge in Java Ecosystem

    • Java Fundamentals

    • Java Frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, J2EE)

    • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills

  • Very strong understanding of Unit Testing

  • Good ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and precise manner

  • Good experience with Maven or Gradle

  • Good understanding of software design fundamentals

  • Experience with Git and Distributed Version Control

  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQP, etc.)

  • Bonus Skills:

    • AWS

    • NodeJS

    • React

    • Docker and Kubernetes

    • RabbitMQ

    • GraphQL
