Technical Lead

Tallant Asia is looking for a Technical Lead for a client based in Sydney, Australia.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a team of developers, both onshore and offshore through daily SCRUM meetings as well as task delegation and monitoring

• Provide input into team management and dev methodology practices to improve dev effort success

• Contributing to code reviews & documentation

• Mentoring junior devs and participating in Git Pull Requests

• Working on a great mix of C# ASP.Net Web API and .NET Core (3/5?) applications and our exciting Azure Sphere IoT-based Access Control technology

• Working within the PropTech industry and using some incredible IoT technology

• Working on a great mix of greenfields projects and maintaining existing applications

• Working with the engineering and design teams on new requirements to help guide and develop a solution to briefs for business activities

• Involved through the whole delivery life cycle, from brainstorming sessions to production

• Experimenting with lots of new technologies through our great R&D projects. We are always keen to explore something new

• Taking initiatives, training & assisting team members to use & implement latest technology solutions

• You will write great code and lead your programmers from the front

On your first day we’d like you to have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a C# .NET Developer, with 1 years previous experience as a Technical Lead

• High proficiency coding in C# using .Net Core, Web API and SQL Server

• At least 1 year of experience using the Azure platform in a production environment (App Services, VM’s, Cosmos DB and Azure Functions)

• Strong experience in the design and development of REST APIs

• Strong experience in modern web development practices (Unit Testing, CI/CD, Security etc)

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to learn new tech fast and operate in an Agile environment
