RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION SPECIALIST
 
Responsibilities as Recruitment and Retention Specialist:
Supports human resources in growing the substitute applicant pool.
Support needs of new hires by analyzing cohort retention data and aggregate evaluation data to better inform strategic professional development efforts led by the Training and Development Specialist.
Recommend retainment strategies based on analysis of short-term and long-term retention data.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives and processes for recruiting and retaining diverse talent.
Lead recruiting efforts to meet the various staffing goals across the municipality/region.
Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using various recruitment sources: internet recruiting sources, job fairs, newspaper, computer databases, networking, sourcing/cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.
Participate in the selection process including pre-screening application materials and candidates, participating as part of interview team.
Organize and lead job fair recruiting activities.
Develop appropriate tracking tools to measure recruitment efforts.
Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new recruitment practices.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in human resources professional organizations.
Develop and maintain ongoing and engaging diverse social media presence for the purposes of recruitment of external applicants.
Coordinate site/office selection process.
Support new employee orientation and/or on boarding.
Develop and manage internal recruitment programs.
Performs all external applicant recruitment activities including the sourcing, resume review, phone screens and interview selection process for all positions.
Conduct exit surveys and interviews
Develops and maintains contacts with key resources to find and attract qualified external candidates.
Identifies opportunities to improve municipality/regional or local/nation branding and the candidate experience.
Represent Nickelbase Inc. at recruiting events and other events focused on talent sourcing.
Based on the recommendation made by hiring Manager to HR Supervisor, drives the offer process from the offer presentation, conditional releases, welcome communication and finally the new employee orientation.
Develops and conducts a process to follow up and check in with new employees halfway into their first year of employment.
Works closely with HRD team and key personnel to develop successful candidate profiles.
Assists HR Supervisor on maintaining and/or developing job descriptions as needed.
Maintains relationships with all recruitment related vendors.
Maintains good public relations and interacts with clients, customers, and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.
Maintains exceptional attendance and punctuality.
Performs any reasonable work requested that falls within the qualifications but not specifically described as a major duty or responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
Able to travel during the workday and on occasion stay overnight to attend a recruitment event. (Compensation for mileage, food and lodging provided.)
On occasion, able to work beyond the normal workday (compensation provided) and through flexing work schedule.
Able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing tasks and priorities.
Able to remain calm, focused and in control when working under stressful conditions.
Financial Offer - Salary and Benefits:
Salary: Up to 15, 000.00/Monthly (Plus Overtime if needed)
Hierarchy Level: RANK AND FILE
Employment Status: Probationary/Regular

Meal Allowance - Provided
HMO (IntelliCare) – 80,000 Maximum Benefit Limit (Upon Regularization)

Further information about the work:
Reporting: You will report directly to HR Supervisor
Place of Work: HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT - Surigao City
Work hours/days: Eight (8) hours per day, five (5.5) days a week
Rest Day: One & half (1.5) days per week
Service Incentive Leave: Five (5) days (Upon Regularization)
