ACCOUNTING / HR STAFF

 

Job brief

 

We are looking for a skilled Accounting / HR Staff to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. Ultimately, a successful Accounting Staff will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department;

  • Keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements.

  • Knowledgeable in accounting software programs (e.g. SAP) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts;

  • Maintaining the book of accounts and ledgers

  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records;

  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements;

  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner;

  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database;

  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel;

  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies;

  • Process payment of government statutory benefits

  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas;

  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • Male or female

  • A university graduate of bachelor's degree in accountancy or its equivalent is required;

  • 2+ years of accounting experience

  • Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk;

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures;

  • Knowledgeable in government reporting such as BIR,SSS,HDMF & Philhealth

  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software;

  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills;

  • Good problem-solving and time management skills
