Is currently looking for:

 

HR ASSISTANT

 (Cebu-based)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

a)  Performs tasks related to recruitment:

  • Sources out applicants from job website ads, newspaper ads and local job fairs.

  • Screens the applicants by conducting entrance exams & referring them for interview and selection by the department manager.

  • Verifies and transmits documents (e.g. application forms, pre-employment requirements) to HRD for approval.

  • Controls and monitors the employment status of all contract workers in coordination with all department heads (appointment, transfer and termination of employees).

  • Conducts orientation on company policies, benefits and safety to newly hired employees.

b.  Provides assistance on the day-today activities of Vismin Branch Office on employee benefits and welfare:

  • Attends to matters regarding loan applications of employees (SSS, Pag-ibig, emergency, educational, motorcycle, etc.).

  • Records and monitors the applications for leave, tardiness and usage of vehicle for personnel with car allowances and submits report to HR Dept.-Head Office.

  • Performs home/hospital visits for sick employees and assists employees in their medical/hospitalization requirements.

  • Prepares employment papers and monitors the performance results of employees who are on training and probation.

  • Arranges the annual physical examination of all Vismin employees and coordinates with HR Dept.-Head Office.

  • Initiates the processing of clearances for resigning or separated employees.

c.  Performs tasks related to implementation of programs and activities, trainings and seminars for employees’ development:

  • Conducts employees’ training needs analysis and assists in the development of training plans to keep the employees motivated, empowered and mentored.

  • Assists in training activities in coordination with HR Dept.-Head Office.

  • Initiates in the preparation of Personnel Requisition in coordination with respective department heads.

  • Coordinates the periodic performance appraisal of Vismin employees.

  • Handles and updates the employees’ bulletin board; assists in disseminating information and communication to improve employees’ productivity and morale.

d.  Performs personnel-related tasks that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Graduate of BS in Psychology/Behavioral Science or 4-year Business course

• Preferably with an experience in the same field

• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Must be proficient both in written and oral communication

• Can relate to all types of people in the organization
