WORKDAY HR SPECIALIST
The Workday Specialist is a member of a high performing HR team focused on the effective support of the employee population and data needs of our Workday System. The Workday Specialist is responsible for data entry of job, salary and other job changes on a day to day basis for our global business units. The role will also coordinate the data management of our contingent workforce globally, ensuring review and coordination of contingent worker data is accurate and up to date timely. This role will partner with HR and managers directly.
Responsibilities:
Support daily Workday operations with heavy data entry
Support moving Workday business process from start to completion
Works closely with existing HR team in a collaborative and cohesive partnership
Consult with business units to resolve challenges and business problems by responding, developing, implementing , and executing proactive solutions as needed.
Conduct data matching to ensure accurate dual entry of HR transactions
Resolve HR tickets as related to Workday/HRIS data entry and change requests, including Workday Business Process tasks
Willingness to work on Ad Hoc Assignments and project, administrative, tactical responsibilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree related to HR or related field
1+ years relevant work experience in HR field; HR Operations support with emphasis on data entry and executing transactions in and HRIS system
Exposure and understanding of HR Operations
Exposure to HR Shared Services or a Center of Excellence
1+ years of applicable experience with HIRS experience in Workday or other related system
Report generation using Excel
Ad-hoc analysis & data matching
Heavy system navigation
Demonstrated success supporting client groups an HR specialist or analyst role
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficient usage of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work both independently and as a team member, and interact with all levels of employees and management
Ability to work overnight shifts
