Passepartout Phils., Inc. is a mid-sized manufacturing company located at MEPZ II in Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu/Philippines with headquarters in Switzerland and UK.

We use sustainable natural materials to create bespoke surfaces of the highest quality for interior design of superyachts, private jets, and residential objects.

To successfully push forward in this challenging business, we are looking for a competent Sander/Fitter to strengthen our Sanding/Polishing section. 

Job description

• Responsible for the rough sanding to fine sanding of the surface, final fitting, and dimensioning as required by the client.

• Responsible in achieving the required surface finish, final fitting, and exact dimensions. 

• Ensure to remove fine scratches, watermarks, blemishes before polishing process.

• Responsible in preparing jigs and fixtures, pattern to have an efficient finishing process.

• Basic experience in furniture machines and equipment.

• Report to the Team Leader or Supervisor if there is an issue or problem encountered during the fitting and finishing process.

• Ensure that the allocated material and labor hour budget in the manufacturing instruction are strictly followed.

• Fill out the manufacturing instruction in the blue book, if not applicable just put an asterisk and put your remarks in the production issue log.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Wear prescribes PPE and uniform during working hours. 

• Follow company rules and regulations and occupational safety.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your superior.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School graduate

• At least 5 years’ experience working in furniture or home accessories company in sanding/fitting/finishing/spraying department
