PACKHOUSE OPERATORS / CHECKERS (APO CEMENT)

SUMMARY

Packhouse Operators/Checkers are responsible for grading, packing, and storing produce according to market requirements. Assemble packaging and crates. Check the quality of produce.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble packaging and crates.

• Check the quality of produce.

• Startup and close down of their machine as necessary.

• Routine checks and preventative maintenance of equipment.

• Efficient completion of final assembly and then packaging processes (such as applying fastenings or ties) if required.

• Product labeling and inspection of the final product.

• Temporary contract Labor assigned in terminal Packhouse Operation.

•  Bulk Operation.

• Start-up of packing plant machineries /Assist in mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment repair and maintenance.

• Incharge of daily calibration of packing equipment.

• Monitoring of packhouse equipment running condition.

• In Charge of Cement withdrawal and submission of daily packhouse cement withdrawal and empty bags report.

• Assist in physical inventory of Cement In Silo and empty Bags.

• Housekeeping.

• Perform other tasks as needed or as advised instructed by the department manager, head, or supervisor.

• Follow lawful orders from your leaders and or officers related to your work.

• Follow the rules and regulations as imposed by our client and our company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.

• Have strong attention to detail and experience and skills working with materials in a packhouse setting.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• At least a High School graduate / College level.

• At least 1-year experience as a Packhouse or equivalent.

• Can work under pressure and flexible

• Can start Asap

• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Tagalog, Cebuano, Visayan, English

CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:

• Membership in relevant organizations as well certificates (see Education and/or experience)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be present at the site during working days. Unless otherwise assigned and or directed to you by the direct supervisor and/or employer to have work-related trips outside the site.

• Must be physically fit.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Onsite and fieldwork.
