SENIOR CONTENT EDITOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the alignment of all branded communication

• Ensures that content is aligned with SSG brand's promise, personality, and voice

• Proofreads all of the writer's output to ensure that issues pertaining to gramar and diction are corrected before content is submitted to the Creative Team and/or the client

• Maintains the Comms Team's editorial calendar to ensure that everything's plotted properly and sent out in time

• Handles high-level communication projects such as executive and client communications

• In charge of the company's email marketing activities from the creation of content material to its rollout Document unit's processes, identifies best practices, and creates company policies relevant to communication

• Reviews communication requirements and collaborates with clients as necessary

• Facilitates brainstorming activity to discuss communication trends and ideas beneficial to the Marketing Team

• Allocates communication requirements to writers, making sure that each announcement will be done properly, in line with the client's brief, and the project's timline

• Monitors team's individual performance and does documented coaching sessions as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or equivalent

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a senior content writer/freelance content writer, senior content creator, senior copywriter, blogger or equivalent. Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.

• Published works / online portfolio is a must
