Digital Marketing Specialist

About The Role:


As a Marketing Assistant, you will report to the Marketing Manager and work alongside the marketing team to hit individual and team KPIs. You will show strong proactivity, efficiency and attention to detail to work on a variety of marketing tasks including but not limited to - Building Facebook/Instagram Ads & Campaigns, Copywriting, Creating and Posting Social Media Content, Creating Marketing Creatives, Updating Websites, Building New Web Pages/Landing Pages, Building Email Sequences & Setting Up Marketing Automations.


As part of the role, you will work within two separate brands of the company. One brand specializes in Education Marketing (universities & colleges) in Australia, is well established and has 8+ years of experience in that industry, the other is a newly launched marketing agency specializing in marketing funnels and lead generation in a variety of niches.


  • Hit weekly and quarterly marketing goals and KPIs.

  • Build, manage and optimize Facebook and Instagram Ad Campaigns to generate leads for our clients under CPA.

  • Write copy for Facebook/Instagram ads, email sequences, and website pages/landing pages.

  • Use Canva to build any marketing materials required for marketing campaigns or marketing projects including image and video creatives, presentations and PDF’s.

  • Build new website pages and landing pages to convert traffic from ads.

  • Use Zapier to set up marketing automations.

  • Set up basic conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager.

  • Create content for organic social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

  • Complete weekly marketing reports.

  • Do community management for the company’s social media pages.

  • Complete regular market research and competitor analysis to look for opportunities in the market and stay up to date with the latest marketing trends and new tools.

  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to each of our products and brands.

  • Learn about, set up and use new marketing softwares to achieve marketing project objectives when required.

About You:

Finding the right fit is important to us. To be considered for this role you must have:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a Digital Marketing role.

  • Experience using Facebook Ads Manager to build and manage paid Facebook and/or Instagram campaigns.

  • Experience building and managing paid advertising campaigns in any other marketing channel such as LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Adwords/Youtube etc.

  • Experience building landing pages/website pages and updating websites.

  • Experience writing ad copy for facebook ads (or other marketing platforms), blogs, email newsletters and web page/landing pages.

  • Experience using Canva or any other similar graphic design software to create marketing materials, content and creatives for facebook ads (or other marketing platforms), email newsletters and social media posts.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation.

  • You must be able to deal with change and thrive in a rapidly changing, start-up environment.

  • Experience using Active Campaign, Autopilot, Zapier, Go High Level or any other automation softwares is highly regarded but not essential.

**Please Note - If you pass the initial screening interview you must be able to show us examples of your previous marketing work including Facebook ads/posts, copywriting, marketing creatives and anything else that displays your marketing skills to progress to the next interview stage.
