 HR MANAGER

 

The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with the department/group heads to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruitment, retention, and succession planning.

  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

  • Creates monthly employee engagement activities to boost employees’ morale and productivity.

  • Continuously analyze current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement\

  • Draft and implement company policies and update existing policies.

  • Keep himself/herself abreast with the developments in labor laws and other government regulatories and/or issuances.

  • Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs

  • Other tasks that may be assigned by the direct supervisor and/or Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • With strong exposure in recruitment, payroll management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, employee skills development

  • With at least 4 years of experience as HR Manager/Head

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
