FULL-STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Employment Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule:  8:00PM - 5:00 AM Philippine time (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST-New York)

             
About the End client:

The client has an incubator and a company builder focused on crafting beautiful technology products. They have built a next-gen Software for financial institutions and have raised an investment round to propel it to the next level.

• Willing to experiment 100 times and fail (fast) 95 times rather than do one thing for a very long time.

• Wants freedom in the workplace; this is not the typical “I tell you exactly what you need to do” job.

• Confident sharing progress to experienced forums (mainly Advisory Council and external shareholders)

• Love finding solutions to problems and knows his way around technology (or is willing to learn) – if the idea of building a web application, integrating analytics, and talking to users to find product-market fits scares or bores you, then this is not the job for you.

Skills and Requirements:

    Backend

• Code software primarily in Node.JS (latest version)

• Query and manage both traditional databases (e.g., MySQL) and No-SQL data stores (e.g., MongoDB)

• Develop software in any other technology platform, as required

• Building test automation

Frontend

• Web frontend programming in HTML5 and CSS

• Web development using AngularJS

• DevOps

Other

• Continuous Integration using Bitbucket

• Provision Dev, Staging, and Production environments in AWS and other platforms

• Work in teams with a product, design, data science, risk, and operations

• Design and build great products
