MACTAN ROCK INDUSTRIES, INC.

Established in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines in 1983, Mactan Rock Industries Inc. started as an industrial chemical manufacturer specializing in water treatment chemicals and industrial preventive maintenance chemicals. As the company grew, it began trading in water softeners, demineralizers and ion exchange resins. In just over five (5) years, it metamorphosed from its modest beginnings to a complete water and wastewater treatment company.

Through its Human Resources Department (HRD) hereby informs everyone that we are currently looking for successful applicants to fill up the following position enumerated below along with the qualifications:

WAREHOUSE MAN-LUZON

QUALLIFICATIONS:

• Degree in business management, warehouse or a related field preferred

• Has previous experience as a warehouseman

• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management

• Time management skills and the ability to delegate

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills

• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Data Entry software

I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A.   GENERAL

1. Implement 5S in the workplace.

2. Practices high quality standard in the performance of specific tasks geared towards customer satisfaction.

3. Improves and does all necessary corrective measures in the overall performance of duties and responsibilities.

4. Abides with the company policies, rules and regulations.

5. Attends to departmental and coordination meetings as scheduled or called for by the department manager or other company authorized officers.

6. Participates in company sponsored activities, e.g. Annual Conference, mid-year Conference, Quarterly Family and Recognition Day, etc.

7. Maintain and implement proper records management.

8. Ensure confidentiality of information and documents at all times.

9. Performs other functions that may be assigned, commensurate to qualification/ training and seminars attended.

B.   SPECIFIC

1. Monitors all chemical inventory and raw materials inventory

2. Monitors all unborrowed or borrowed tools to prevent loss of materials

3. Ensures that all raw materials and chemicals are properly stored and handled

4. Ensures that all materials tools are return to warehouse in good condition within the specified number of days from the date they are borrowed.

5. Ensures that defectives tools are properly accounted for, documented and changed to the responsible person.

6. Ensures other functions, which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time, any extra jobs commensurate to qualifications/training and seminars attended.
