Responsibilities:

 

Record keeping:

  • Records and monitors all employees’ medical records;

  • Ensure availability and accountability of medicines and medical supplies;

  • Monitor the stock inventory of medicines and other necessary supplies from time to time;

  • Document all employee injuries and illnesses and keep this information confidential;

  • Communicate with management on a regular basis; and

  • Responsible for coordinating, preparation, and submission of regulatory reporting requirements to the Rural Health Units or other Healthcare Facilities (as the need arises) especially for COVID-19 related cases in the workplace and in compliance with IATF guidelines in prevention of the spread of the disease.

 Immediate medical care:

  • Provide emergency treatment in the workplace;

  • Administer over-the-counter medication to employees;

  • Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area;

  • Provides appropriate emergency and first-aid management and medications to employees;

  • Accommodates sick employees to the hospital when necessary and assists in dropping the employee home;

  • Assist regular medical examinations of all employees; and

  • Actively involved in COVID-19 interventions, and will remain key players in stopping the pandemic with adequate assistance.

Program awareness, and/or Activities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety programs;

  • Promote healthy eating and wellness programs;

  • Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input;

  • Research activities pertaining or related to health and wellness development;

  • Improve the health of employees through ongoing programs and health checks;

  • Creates training module and conducts training/seminar for health and wellness program;

  • Responsible for engaging employees to attend health and wellness programs, stress management programs, and other activities that will help in promoting a good work-life balance;

  • Promoting a healthy lifestyle for the benefit of all employees, preventing illnesses, counseling employees’ health issues for the improvement of their lives;

  • Participate in the activities of occupational health and safety by giving suggestions in the improvement of the working environment affecting the health and well-being of the workers; and

  • Attend seminar workshops on HIV/AIDS, Gender Sensitivity, Family planning, and Stress Management.

Compensations and benefits:

• Government-Mandated GOCC

• Meal Allowance - Provided

• HMO – 80,000 Maximum Benefit Limit (Upon Regularization)

 

Further information about the work:

A) Reporting: You will report directly to Safety Head

B) Work hours/days: Eight (8) hours per day, Six (6) days a week

C) Rest Day: One(1) day per week

D) Service Incentive Leave: Five (5) days (Upon Regularization)
