IMPLEMENTATION ENGINEER / SYSTEM TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

Assists in the successful deployment of integrated or stand-alone releases into production. This role is critical to the safety of the production environment and helps prevent the introduction of bad or untested code into production on which the organization's customers depend. Role starts from testing, releasing, maintenance to aftersales support.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with clients in transportation and retail sector.
Lead and support installation of AFCS automatic fare collection devices, GPS equipment and peripherals.
Conduct levels 2-3 technical support, trainings and demonstration to clients
Assist in the development and maintenance of operational standards and procedures like test plans, setup and user manuals.
Investigate and understand root causes and corrective actions for issues in business operations.
Ensure hardware and software products are of highest quality and standard while following AFCS business requirements.
Works closely with client, business and developer team to ensure targets and change request are achieved.
Manage device inventory records and supplies.
Support the start-up and integration of new operations projects.

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent. Board Passer not required but a plus.
Preferably with experience in installation, troubleshooting, maintenance of On-Board electronic devices, equipment and peripherals.
Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, remote access applications, Google Earth and client/server operating systems.
Basic knowledge in SQL, HTML and other programming language.
Knowledgeable in Near-Field Communications, Smart Card technology, Global Positioning System, Fleet Management System and QR Based devices and applications.
Strong quality assurance background and proactive
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well with others on a team.
Based in Bacolod. Willingness to travel domestically.
