Our company provides accounting and tax services in Australia. We are looking for a candidate with an Accounting background and experience with Australian accounting and bookkeeping.
The tasks for the position includes bookkeeping, preparation and lodgement of BAS (GST), preparation and lodgment of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, preparation of projected income & cash flow statement, preparation of profit & loss statements, and preparation of balance sheet.
Here are some typical types of tasks you might handle:
Handle financial tasks in basic accounting - recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and providing reports or statements to managers.
Other general VA tasks may be required like answering calls, returning emails, and similar tasks
Any 4-year Bachelor’s degree
Experience in Australian accounting is not required but it is a big PLUS
Knowledgeable in MYOB or any accounting software
Great English communication skills via phone and email
Willing to be trained
Ability to multi-task
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
