The GES Cebu Senior Professional will be handling HR functions assigned to Cebu including onboarding, benefits and payroll. The position shall also cover other HR operational services in line with risk and compliance.

  • Works with the Onboarding and Recruitment Team to execute the onboarding process which covers new hires’ pre-employment screening, monitoring of pre-employment requirements submissions and completeness of the documents, inquiries and accommodations including relocation process and ensure that all other established processes are executed to get the new hires to start within the set timeline.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end administration and processing of company and statutory benefits within the prescribed service levels. This includes managing of third-party vendors and government agency requirements. Administration of process changes and regulatory updates of these stakeholders.

  • Covers payroll functions from timekeeping, payroll reporting, compliance, and other payroll strategies and initiatives to ensure accuracy of payroll.

  • Supports regional and/or global initiatives that may be assigned from time to time including role expansions and ad-hoc projects as part of the process/procedure/functional enhancements.

  • Assist in the regular quality check of work processes to ensure error-free processing including training assistance with team members on the process, systems and applications when required.

  • Participates in developing departmental goals, objectives, and systems. Recommends new approaches, policy enhancements and innovation to effect continual improvements in the department and services performed.

  • Responsible for effectively managing clients and/or stakeholders across all levels in the organization.

  • Perform duties that are required from time to time. 

  • Possibility of handling a team in the future.


  • Must be a Bachelor’s/College Degree graduate in Human Resources Management, or any Business-related courses.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of extensive experience in HR operations specializing in Payroll and Benefits (Statutory and Company Benefits), inclusive of at least 1 year people management experience required. Experience in handling New Hire Pre-Employment Onboarding and knowledge on BIR Taxation an advantage.

  • Accounting background preferred.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage own workload in a pressurized and deadline driven environment, operating within tight timeframes

  • Ability to run multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality output at all times

  • With strong supervisory and leadership skills, analytical and team worker and can work independently with minimal supervision.

  • With excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and with the ability to deal with employees across all levels of the organization in a sensitive manner

  • Proficient in using MS Windows applications (Excel, SharePoint, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)

  • Must be amenable to reporting in Cebu office.
