COASTLAND CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

We are engaged in the construction of civil works particularly, road networks (concrete and asphalt), ports, hydraulic structures and low to medium rise buildings both in the private and the public sector.

We are in need of:

ACCOUNTING STAFF

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare billing documents for checking and review of the Contractor’s Project Coordinator;
Compute for the progress billing based on the approved Accomplishment Report submitted by the Project Engineer;
Check for Change Order or change in contract for necessary adjustments in billing;
Submit the billing documents to the implementing agency’s representatives for review and approval;
Upon receipt of the collection voucher/disbursement voucher, provide a copy of the voucher to Accounting Officer;
For collections of bank-to-bank arrangements, inform Accounting Officer to update the applicable bank account, upon advice by the agency, to verify if the collection has been credited to the said account
For check collections, deposit check to the applicable bank account
Issue Official Receipt to Implementing Agency upon collection of billing
Files Collection Vouchers, Disbursement Vouchers, Official Receipts and other accounting records; the following documents:
Regularly performs an update of A/R Records such as the status of the collections.
Assists the Accounting Officer in processing accounting-related transactions;
Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from other departments;
Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by the encoding of data; schedules required tasks; verifies data;
Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by superiors from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

Male/Female
A Bachelor’s degree holder in accounting, any related course
Trustworthy and detail-oriented;
Must be skilled in the use of Excel Spreadsheets and MS office applications;
Physically and mentally healthy; can work under pressure
