DIGITAL MARKETING ANALYST

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Data analytics and strategy formation

  • Analyzes existing data and generates actionable insight to drive business objectives which includes: 

    • Increasing store headcount & online to offline conversion;

    • New customer acquisition;

    • Customer retention;

    • Increasing customer basket;

    • Increasing catchment penetration;

    • Increasing customer lifetime cycle and value;

    • Reducing churn, among other marketing metrics; This also includes promoting data integrity for maintaining accurate data for analysis;

Marketing Promotions

  • Measures the performance of non-traditional marketing campaigns/promotions; trains and develop KPI reports that tell the story behind the data to non-technical team members to drive key marketing, product, and business decisions;

Store Operations Support

  • Understands performance, product and business drivers ( e.g sales, headcount, transaction count and basket size) to develop, create and drive data analysis, modeling and visualization leading to the implementation of area/store/local promotions and targeted/segmented/focused marketing strategies by the regional marketing supervisors and marketing assistants;

Collaboration

  • Collaborates with cross-company departments like Merchandising, DMT, ICT and Operations to maintain organization-wide data standards, define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models and make recommendations including but not limited the following:

    • Improved customer shopping experience;

    • Increased cross – selling and conversion;

    • Affinity studies;

    • Developing emerging sources of business across the system;

Media and Digital Marketing

  • Coordinates with Media Agencies (if any), External partners and Internal Marketing teams to maintain a Marketing Campaign Tracker across all media plans in order to ensure alignment between traditional, non-traditional, cross-channel, in-store, Social, and Digital channels.

JOB SPECIFICATION

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related/quantitative discipline.

Licensure and/or Certification Required:

  •  None required

Number of Years of Relevant Work Experience: 

  • At least  1-2 years  relevant work experience in data analytics or similar practice
