A high-profile, high-growth UCaaS Texas Company is looking for passionate and self-driven candidates with the right attitude and skills for their SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE position.
Sales development representatives contact prospects and customers to sell products and services. A sales dev rep makes cold calls to leads and generates sales and revenue for organizations across all industries. Additionally, a sales dev rep is responsible for meeting daily, weekly, monthly, or annual key performance indicators (KPIs).
Sales Development Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
Understands the quickly changing industry of tech security
Maintains current security offerings, makes recommendations for security products, configurations, and strategies, and plans and assists in implementations of security products for customers
Generate appointments with prospects for the sales team
Awareness of the security industry as it pertains to MSPs customers. Technical abilities to use security products with my customers
Follow our script and the ability to overcome objections to set the appointments
Create, maintain, and update databases of customers with complete information and emails
Consolidate existing customer base while building new customer base
Record outbound call history and customer response in detail.
Ensure customer follow-up all the time
Send or email product literature, brochures, catalogs, and other campaign material
Monitor competitors’ products or services and create selling strategies for own products or services
Handle customer needs and requirements
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve
Refer customers’ needs or inquiries to appropriate departments like sales, marketing, administrative, or other departments
Assist and support sales, marketing, or other departments in handling customer requests and needs
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of MSP industry and security needs of its customers
Personable, friendly, and energetic
Very good English-speaking skills
Minimum experience of two years in outbound sales
