THE OPPORTUNITY: EMR Charting Specialist

The primary function of the EMR Charting Specialist is to convert the clinician's written patient assessment into an electronic medical record by accurately encoding the patient assessment after the information has been verified and coincided with the patients' referral document and other supporting medical documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Efficiently encodes clinicians' patient assessments into the plotted daily visit notes in the EMR. These assessment forms include comprehensive assessments such as the different types of OASIS, therapy evaluations, and the required skilled discipline daily visit notes.
Organizes, compiles, sort out and process the clinical data to ensure a cohesive patient assessment record
Coordinates with clinicians for verification or clarification of information that are illegible or does not match with the referral notes
Ensures accuracy of the data entry by reconciling the clinical assessment with the MD referral notes and other supporting medical documentation
Adheres to the agency data encoding protocols
Maintains confidentiality in handling the patient’s information
Follows the correct usage of data encoding tools
Updates Data Encoding Tracker Sheet
Complies with required daily productivity for data encoding
Other job duties deemed necessary

WHAT IT TAKES

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Physical Therapy with active PRC license

- At least 1-year clinical experience, fresh graduates are welcome to apply!

- Experience in a Healthcare BPO is A PLUS, but not required

- Willing to undergo onsite training (3 months onsite)

- Preferably with government IDs/numbers (SSS, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig & TIN) and valid NBI clearance

- Preferably with stable internet connection at home (for post-training/WFH)
