SERVICE SUPERVISOR

E/E Service Department

(Davao-based)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares monthly/daily work schedules of servicemen under him and sees to it that the schedules are followed.

  • Conducts regularly on the spot inspection of all equipment in his area to check the condition and performance unit and makes recommendation necessary for its improvement and/or servicing systems.

  • Coordinates with other sections on matters pertaining to proper maintenance of elevators and escalators.

  • Monitors inventory level of spare parts and initiates action to order whatever parts are needed.

  • Establishes good and constant contact with the owner/owner’s representative and entertains/proposes suggestions/recommendations necessary for the operations improvement.

  • Discusses with the owner service contract proposals and follow-ups subsequent.

  • Follow-ups with the owner/representative any request for adjustment on fees for service job provided on their equipment.

  • Coordinates efforts of his men in the collection of accounts and recommends discontinuation of service job if necessary.

  • Trains and develops his men to ensure effective performance of their jobs and for personal growth.

  • Performs other service-related tasks that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably licensed or have at least two (2) years of technical education.

  • Preferably with experience in field of engineering

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written English and Pilipino.

  • Can relate effectively to all types of people in the organization and demonstrate strong leadership ability.

  • Capable of negotiating effectively with the prospective clients.

  • Must possess a good moral character;
