About the PITC

Pets in the City Veterinary Clinic (fondly called PITC) has been in the animal care business for more than 10 years now. It is in Talamban, Cebu City.

Doc Daisy and her team currently caters to consultation, vaccination, pet grooming and surgery. Pets in the Veterinary City Clinic strongly advocates for responsible pet ownership. It serves to be the client's and community's partners in promoting responsible pet ownership by continuous learning and education, constant service improvement and sensitivity to client's and patient's needs.

PART-TIME LICENSED VETERINARIAN

PITC is currently looking for two (2) part-time veterinarians who will be available in November 2021 onwards. The part-time veterinarian is expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities, with added flexibility in the number of hours he/she is able to render per week.

Examine, diagnose and treat health problems in pets
Perform surgeries such as spay and neuter, soft tissue, dental, orthopedic and other surgical procedures
Perform and interpret radiograph, ultrasound, blood works, and other diagnostic procedures
Dispense prescription medicine and administer medications
Inoculating pets against diseases
Provide client education about responsible pet ownership, animal control and animal welfare

Qualifications/Competencies

Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Has at least one-year of small animal practice experience (on-the-job training and part-time work can be included)
Competitive, efficient, and resilient
Goal driven, passionate, and possess a growth mindset
Team player and a good communicator
Great interpersonal skills and has professional attitude
