The IT Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in Smartsourcing.


He/She helps determine the IT needs of the company and is responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the business information systems requirements.


The scope of the IT Manager's responsibilities includes managing computer networks and other support systems related to the company operations.


In this role, the IT Manager will analyse Smartsourcing’s current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training.


He/She must have extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience coordinating with staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep the business on the cutting edge. From day one, the IT Manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of the IT operations, and an ongoing impact on the overall growth.


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

  • Extensive experience in ICT including Mac/Windows client and server, and administrative systems, including recent technical certifications

  • Must have at least 2 years experience as a systems administrator using Windows 2012 Active Directory environments (or newer)

  • Must have a good understanding of IP networks & routing

  • Management training or experience is highly desirable

  • In-depth knowledge of administrative procedures such as budgeting, quality assurance and managing people is a distinct advantage

  • Specific educational ICT knowledge and expertise is beneficial

  • Cyber-security policy management and best practice approaches

  • Exposure to data processing/GDPR/PCI compliance

  • Experience in system and cloud administration (Azure, AWS, etc)

  • Ticketing system management/configuration/maintenance

  • Hardware/software asset management

  • Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) knowledge
