YM Careers is looking for a talented Creative Services Lead who will wake up every weekday and create value worldwide by crafting digital experiences that empower millions to advance their career and learn valuable skills through our online web portals. You’ll collaborate with the high energy, hands-on Product Design, Creative Services, Partner Services and Marketing teams of Community Brands’ international software companies to deliver engaging, memorable website experiences as a key member of our Product Design Department’s Creative Services team.
The Creative Services Lead is a leader who has their hands in managing the Creative Services team and resources as well as making an impact in Product Design’s feature platform work. This position will be located in our Cebu Office.
In this role you’ll:
Bring the client’s brand to life by designing creative mockups that reinforce the brand’s personality.
Unleash your creative vision to bring client websites to life utilizing and expanding upon our base templating system using HTML5, CSS3 and basic jQuery.
Target website bugs and errors in the code and develop mobile and optimization friendly solutions that pass WCAG 2.1 A and AA compliance.
Spearhead pushing client sites live to the web via our internal systems.
Track, update and manage over 3,000 custom client CSS files with GIT.
Guide and mentor members of the Creative Services team with design and code best practices.
Routinely execute code reviews of Creative Services’ team members’ code.
Assist in management of Creative Services’ backlog of work and distribute tasks to team members within team capacity.
Create mockups and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate the user flow and product vision to various stakeholders on new product features.
Act as the sounding board for the front-facing web interface of the software throughout the Product Design process.

Mastery of responsive designs, browser and device-based compatibilities and coding techniques
WCAG 2.1 and 508 compliance knowledge (ARIA techniques is a bonus)
Expert utilizing the core Bootstrap framework through SASS SCSS Markup
Intermediate understanding of SASS language
Knowledge of GULP and auto task management
Version Control using GIT
Firm understanding of the principles of design (color theory, etc) and global UI patterns
Advanced knowledge of Sketch App and Adobe Suite programs.
4+ years of experience in Web, UX and/or Frontend Development (Proven experience should be delivered via Resume and portfolio samples)
Outstanding ability to provide quick turn arounds in an agile environment
Ability to appreciate both subjective and objective critique, as well as give objective critique to team members when appropriate
Knowledge of business programs such as Microsoft Suite
Ability to use / familiarity with JIRA
Experience working within an agile workflow and SCRUM environment
Desire to learn and enhance your skills as a designer and leader; passion for what you do
Bachelor’s Degree in Design or related field or equal, quality work experience in the field (High quality portfolio and work experience is most valuable above anything else)
