The Inpatient Medical Coder is responsible for assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures, using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes. Ensures codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with government and insurance regulations. Communicates with other clinical staff regarding documentation. Searches for information in cases where the coding is complex or unusual. Receives and reviews patient charts and documents for accuracy. Ensures that all codes are current and active.

What we look for:

Graduate of BS Nursing with active PRC Nursing License
Must have an active Inpatient Medical Coding License (CPC, CIC, CCS)
With at least 1 year of Inpatient medical coding experience in Clinical/BPO/CPO set-up
Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Willing to work in BGC, Taguig
Willing to start October / November 2021
