About the role

As a Senior Reconciliation Analyst, you will support complex monthly balance sheet reconciliations. You will be liaising with different teams to resolve issues in your assigned accounts and help in identifying process improvements that will help FinOps team achieve its goals to support the company’s plans for rapid growth.

As a member of WorldRemit’s Finance team you will aim high, embrace challenge and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long-term decision making.

Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, you will:

Prepare complex monthly transactional and balance sheet reconciliations
Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to resolve data integrity and reporting issues
Prepare of Month End journals as required
Update documentation outlining the reconciliation process
Identify opportunities to improve process
Assist and support the automation of the reconciliation process
Take ownership accounts assigned for reconciliation and resolving issues in it.
Support the wider Finance team as needed

What we’re looking for from you...

Finance based degree with 3 to 5 years’ experience in any one of the following areas: Reconciliations, Audit/Accounts preparation, working in a shared service centre, forensic accounting.
Experience of analysing large volumes of data, typically low transaction values
Experience in working on projects with timely and successful completion
Attention to detail
Confident spreadsheet skills – SUMIF, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP
The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines efficiently within fast-paced environment
A flexible individual who enjoys working in a changing environment, with an enjoyment of problem-solving and a strong analytical mindset
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
