Job Description
The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for researching industry-related topics, preparing well-structured drafts using digital word processing and publishing platforms, creating and distributing marketing copy to advertise the Oakridge brand and services. A successful candidate for this position should be a creative professional who understands how the major search engine works and what people are searching for when they visit particular websites. He/She must be able to present ideas in a simple, straightforward manner so it appeals to readers, especially those who would be interested in the Company’s business. At the same time, the content creator should have enough personality and style to keep the text engaging.
  • Creates content such as social media messages, marketing collaterals, and e-mails
  • Participates in planning and strategizing for marketing campaign execution including content, content schedule, platforms, and measurements
  • Develops a benchmark and sets a goal for each campaign and ensure that they are reached
  • Participates in Departmental meetings
  • Develops content to promote the Company
  • Generates new ideas and opportunities to ensure Company’s marketing success
  • Must be able to work well independently
  • Has the ability to collaborate with co-workers and interface with the Sales and Marketing team
  • Loves to hustle and work in a fast pace environment
  • Must be a self-taught learner who is willing to read and keep up-to-date on technological changes and how they could be used by the Company
  • Has excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
  • Has impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Has a deep understanding of the Company’s products and services
  • Has high comprehension of software such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs
  • Has familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
  • Has an understanding of formatting articles on the web
