We are in immediate need of:
 
ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER
 
Duties:
1. Ensure sales data integrity and adequate updating
2. Provide regular reporting at salesperson, sales group and regional levels
3. Continuously improve tool functionality.
4. Competitive tracking, positioning and review.
5. Track competitive deals to improve market pricing and positioning.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive business industry and marketplace, competitive landscape.
7. Manage a centralized standard set of data needed to enable consistent proposal development
8. Coordinate and communicate with key interfacing groups, especially IT, Design, Construction, and Project Development.
9. Plan, organize and set daily and individual goal for sales group to achieve monthly target.
10. Planning, organizing and implementing Sales and Operations programs activities
11. Inventory Cost Management
12. Facilitation and implementation of marketing activities
13. Oversee daily marketing activities
14. Conduct weekly product update/presentation or technical training for the sales group and merchandisers.
15. Come up with motivational programs or incentive schemes.

Education and Experience:
• This position requires extensive knowledge of the sales operations role, including demand forecasting, sales productivity metrics and tracking experience preferred), intensive quarterly and annual planning, Sales and Operations (S&OP) process including demand/supply planning, allocation, and execution, and the order management process.
• Bachelor’s degree required with business emphasis
• The candidate must be strong conceptually and quantitatively. bachelor’s degree with a business emphasis

Qualifications:
• Work for the Sales Operations group of a home furnishing materials and hardware company.
• 4+ years of progressively more demanding work experience
• Demonstrated comfort working in a cross-functional, matrix-oriented, multinational environment.
• Software Experience
• Comfort working in an extremely fast-paced setting, with proven ability to take initiative in an environment that at times can be ambiguous
• Knowledge of contract and purchase order structures
