PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Manages flour formulation batch mixing guidelines, supervises trial runs, prepares product quality plan, product specifications and conducts regular competitor flour study.
Handles premixes formulation, innovation studies for bakery products.
Conducts grist for flour products based on crop quality, customer requirement and/or consideration.
Determine suitable formulation for flour and bakery products.
Conducts assessment of wheat samples and flour additives.
Prepares on-time reports/documents related Product. Specification, Product Quality Plan, Batch Mixing Guidelines among others.
Supervises Commercial Trial Runs.
Tests new Flour Analysis Procedures.
Conducts regular Competitor Products Study.
Improve quality of existing flour formulation with respect to specialization.
Develops and innovates products according to market needs, demands or specialization.
Responsible for ensuring awareness, complying the GMC Food Safety and Quality Policy.
Compliance with occupational safety and health policy, report any unsafe act/conditions in the workplace and ensures safety practices is adhered.
Preferably a BS Food Technology, Chemical Engineer or any related course with sensory evaluation in laboratory analysis & results interpretation.
Has an experience in Process Engineering
Preferably with background in food manufacturing industry.
Knows how to construct and interpret process flow diagrams.
Has background on Food Science
Has a basic knowledge on GMP, HACCP, FSSC
Has a background on technical report writing
Good interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills
Good analytical skills and data interpretation
Can work under pressure
Can work with minimum supervision
