As a Data Entry Specialist, your responsibilities will include the ff:

Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information
Combines and consolidates data from different sources or systems when account information is incomplete
Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
Regularly update existing data and retrieve data or files as requested
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Responding to information requests from authorized members
Testing new systems and updates and provide feedback as necessary
Create, manage and update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

Qualifications for the role:

Graduate of any bachelor’s degree, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Experience as e-commerce data entry clerk is preferable
Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
Computer literacy and excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Words, Excel, etc.)
Basic understanding of databases
Great command of English both oral and written; excellent knowledge of grammar and punctuation
Excellent attention to detail; critical thinker and a team player
Good time-management skills
Willingness to learn new things
