The F&B Supervisor oversees all aspects of a banquet or event, including set-up, food presentation, serving, and clean-up, while focusing on detail and quality presentation and customer service. He/She acts as the single point of contact with the banquet host during the banquet function. Banquet Supervisors are also responsible for training and coaching the banquet staff.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas, banquet rooms, and storage areas
  • Responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment, furniture, and fixtures in the Banquet and Catering Section
  • Responsible for consistently implementing the service standards and operating procedures in the banquet and catering service
  • Supervise events and team members throughout service
  • Resolve staff and customer concerns quickly and efficiently
  • Responsible for monthly inventory, consumption spreadsheet, and banquet staff movements
  • Maintains constant communication with guests and on-site contact to ensure all expectations are met or exceeded
  • Ensures effective communication with kitchen staff to maintain proper coordination between food production and foodservice
