The Jr. Video Editor will adapt designs for multiple types of products and brands and will work cross-functionally with the client Marketing team to ensure design intent and brand standards. The ideal candidate must have a fundamental understanding of design concepts, production techniques, and preflight formatting in addition to collecting, processing, checking, and uploading files.

  • Edit videos – Final Cut or Premiere preferred
  • Retouch images for lighting, remove and extend backgrounds as well as crop and export to specified file types
  • Create animated gifs for web, email, and social
  • Version ads in multiple sizes
  • Use various colors, graphics, and effects to better convey each concept
  • Create production files based upon job specifications
  • Work closely with the Design team for concept and layout
  • Collection of production-ready files for upload to FTP sites
  • Digital asset rendering
  • Maintain file naming and organization protocols
  • Create a presentation, marketing, and sales materials
  • Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation
  • Follow deadlines to ensure timely publications for multiple projects
  • Layout and development of displays and mock-ups
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree holder in digital art, graphic design, visual communications, marketing OR possess equivalent experience/required skillset
  • At least 2 years of experience in a production or administrative role at a creative agency, design firm, or in-house creative team
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro/Final Cut
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
  • High attention-to-detail
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
  • Product knowledge and brand identification a plus
  • macOS experience preferred
  • Project Management software a plus
  • Digital Asset Management software a plus (inMotion or similar)
  • Present a portfolio/video reel of sample works upon application
