SPANISH SALES CONSULTANT
 
As a Sales Consultant, you will consult with Spanish-speaking authors interested in self-publishing a book or those who have published a book with Author Solutions.
 
You are the first point of contact for authors who haven’t published a book and will help assess their needs to determine the best publishing services to get their book to market.
 
You will also consult with authors who have published with us, educate them on the marketing services available to meet the goals they have for their book, and build long-term relationships with them to ensure book sales are strong and marketing efforts are ongoing.
 
A day in the life of a sales representative includes:
  • Consulting with prospective authors about our publishing and/or marketing platform
  • Introducing new options to authors and closing business based on their needs and goals
  • Maintaining a minimum number of calls and call activity as determined by management
  • Maintaining authors in our CRM tool as directed by management
This job is perfect for you if you:
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills in both Spanish and English
  • Possess strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and computer skills
  • Can demonstrate self-reliance by meeting/exceeding workflow needs
  • Are able to consistently produces a high volume of quality work
  • Are capable and willing to adapt as needed to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Have a college degree (preferred but not necessary)
  • Have at least 2 years sales experience or a background in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) upselling, cross-selling, or retention (preferred but not necessary)
