An Australian company that has been established in 2016 and running a growing (currently 35) contract book of IT Professionals is seeking experienced Payroll Support who can help administer the timesheets, invoicing, and payroll of their growing contract book (currently 35). 

Schedule: Morning shift 
  • Minimum of one (1) year payroll support experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Ideally, someone who worked for a Recruitment Industry or Labour Hire environment.
  • Preferably someone who has worked as a Payroll Specialist for an Australian company.
  • Experience working with a payroll software platform (Xero, MYOB, or Astute System)
  • A proactive problem-solver who is able to think outside of the box to resolve back-office challenges.
  • Fast, efficient and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Contact Book Management, ensuring all contractors are invoiced and paid on time and any issues that arise a proactively resolved.
  • Become a superuser of the Astute payroll system.
  • General housekeeping, updating information, and troubleshooting on the Astute system and payroll process.
  • Timesheet management.
  • Invoicing and Collections.
  • PO Management.
  • Run the bi-weekly Payroll.
  • Proactively ensure ALL contractors are paid on time
  • Generate and distribute reports as required.
