Minimum Requirements for hiring:
  • Graduate from recognized university (4 or a 5 year course completed)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as assistant manager or manager for Risk and Compliance in a BPO set-up
  • Financial services/banking experience would be preferred
  • Knowledge on banking regulations e.g. DPA/FSA etc
  • Good command on MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Willing to take on challenging environment/multi-tasking
  • Willingness to work in shifts and during holidays/weekends
  • Willing to work/relocate in Cebu
Key Accountabilities:
  • To provide a specialized risk and compliance service
  • Establish, maintain, monitor, manage and mitigate risk
  • Review/Resolve a range of the more demanding risk and compliance enquiries and/or issues
  • Instigate and/or undertake detailed risk, analytical, able to provide business-suitable recommendations
  • Communicate non-compliance and risk issues to all relevant parties & timely reporting, monitoring and audit established procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure that all regulatory, risk and audit issues/enquiries raised by client client or the regulator are responded to in a timely and effective manner
  • Undertake small projects and/or provide specialized input into wider business projects and initiatives
  • Undertake the review of risk and compliance procedures and controls highlighting areas of concern and recommending actions in order to minimize risk
  • To deliver risk and compliance training to all employees, ensuring that they are aware of their responsibilities under internal business policy and external legislation
  • Create and maintain the compliance training database
