The Timekeeper is responsible for effectively collecting attendance data and performing necessary action on schedule requests filed by employees. They play a central role in compliance and fraud detection related to attendance, review and audit of timekeeping entries and alerting supervisors and Payroll Team to inconsistencies or discrepancies of timekeeping data.
Job Description
  • Assign schedules of the employees in the Timekeeping System (NBS).
  • Submit schedule requests on behalf of the employee if the latter is unable to.
  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, in order to maintain and update timekeeping records.
  • Collect supervisor and client approvals for leaves, swaps and other special schedule arrangements.
  • Review the assigned employees’ vacation, sick leave balances and total hours worked.
  • Check and inspect timekeeping records of assigned employees for errors and rectify them.
  • Process/approve all schedule requests of assigned employees (missing logs, change of shift, leaves, etc.)
  • Approve timecards of assigned employees at the end of each pay period.
  • Communicate with the client the absences and tardiness of assigned employees.
  • Produce and review audit reports by ensuring correctness of data between company dashboards and our payroll system
  • Participate in process creation/improvement related to timekeeping.
  • Generate monthly tardiness reports per employee.
  • Perform other work related tasks as may be assigned. 
  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Preferably one-year work experience in a related field. Fresh graduates with no experience may apply.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Resourceful and can work with less supervision.
  • Must be willing to work the mid/night shift.
