SCRUM MASTER

(Cebu/Bacolod/Makati)

Responsibilities

Plans and designs consistent with company goals
Works in a highly collaborative work environment implementing new features, including day-to-day collaboration with other Engineers and the product, marketing and business development teams
Collaborates with the business and development staff and other engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
Executes all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Contributes to a future-ready, high quality, and performant code base
Shares technical solutions and ideas with the team through design review, pair programming, code review and tech talk
Makes decisions and influences scalable Front-End architecture
Takes designs, wireframes, and mockups to develop robust applications and platforms
Troubleshoots issues quickly, tests products, and maintains and updates them through their lifecycle
Conceptualizes original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Conducts usability testing to identify and fix UI issues
Demonstrates solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Produces software features as part of a strong team according to Design and User Stories/Specifications
Makes recommendations which yield an intuitive user interface
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Experience in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX flow and usability
Knowledge of React, Angular, AngularJS, Node, Webpack, and Universal JavaScript
Proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML5, CSS3, REACT, jQuery highly encouraged
Knowledge of web-based display issues, such as dithering, web safe color palettes, resolution, file size, and file formats
Knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver)
Strong working knowledge of developing cross platform/browser compatibility (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) for dynamic web applications
Experience with Git, Jira and project management tools required
Understanding of REST architecture and working knowledge of REST API
Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS
Interest in and ability to work in a collaborative environment with business team and developers, both on-site and remote
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines and project milestones
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Problem solving skills
Detail oriented
Self-driven

Education & Experience

5+ years of project lead or scrum leader experience required
BS in Computer Science/MIS or equivalent work experience
