This job directly reports to the Treasury Manager under the Supervision of the Treasury Supervisor for Operations and is :
  • One who knows the whole job description of cashiering supervisor and cashier,
  • Knowledgeable in all do’s and don’ts of Cashiering Department
  • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort.
  • Motivate & inspire Cashiering Supervisor, Cashiers, and Baggers.
  • Lead by setting a good example (role model). Behavior must be consistent in work.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
  • Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues.
  • Support new Cashiering Supervisors and Cashiers in working through BOPI. Ensure that they have the necessary knowledge to effectively participate operations.
  • Provide any training that team members need. Monitor team members’ participation to ensure the training provided for them is being put into use and see if any additional training is needed.
  • Recognize individual accomplishments and exceptional performance.
  • Contribute to performance appraisals and supervision process.
  • Organize and facilitate regular Cashiering Supervisors meeting.
  • Conduct training to newly hired Cashiers and employees related to Cashiering functions.
1. Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related courses

3. Licensure and/or Certification Required:
  • None-required
4. Number of years of relevant experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience with at least 2 years supervisory role in cashiering, in retail industry or similar duties
