Is currently looking for:
Essential Job Functions
  • Lead an assigned team to meet performance requirements utilizing various management skills, including 1:1 coaching and mentoring
  • Provide orientation and support of new staff
  • Perform quality assessments through service observations and case reviews
  • Serve as liaison between US Account Client and the rest of the team
  • Monitor/manage daily staffing requirements to include daily work assignment supervision
  • Manage various report activities to ensure metrics are met
  • Stays educated on all changing requirements for the health plans and processes
  • Responsible for assisting in management of day to day operations and overall success of the on-site program
  • Assists other staff with medical review to determine medical necessity of each request by applying appropriate medical criteria to first level reviews and utilizing state or state recommended guidelines
  • Monitors staff in ensuring that documentation is clear, concise and meets established specifications. Documentation must be grammatically correct with proper punctuation, capitalization and grammar
  • Provides help to staff in working and completing partial prep, chronologies and full prep as assigned
  • Provides guidance and coaching to nurse reviewer and participate in the orientation of newly hired nurse reviewer.
  • Provides optimum customer service
  • Maintains productivity, quality, and other service standards
  • Participates in on-going training programs to ensure quality performance and compliance with guidelines
  • Helps evaluate staff performance based on developed standards and metrics
  • Additional tasks may include (but not limited to):
  • Answering questions and reviewing cases from clinical and non-clinical staff, via phone, e-mail, or in person
  • Handling escalated cases
  • Conducting team meetings
  • Other tasks as assigned
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Training & Development
  • Ability to use PC and widely-used software packages, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a faced paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and take on duties as assigned
  • Demonstrates strong leadership abilities including ability to handle conflict resolution and give constructive feedback.
  • Possess strong organizational and analytical skills
Work and Time Requirements
  • Must be able to sit and make rounds as needed on an eight (8) hour shift
  • Variations in work volume and business needs may require extended or flexible working hours
Preferred Educational and/or Work Experience
  • Current, unrestricted license as RN in the US
  • Able to type minimum of 30 wpm with excellent accuracy
  • At least 2 years of recent & pertinent clinical experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Management or team leader experience desirable
