MY REFUGE HOUSE MINISTRY, INC. is a non-stock, non-profit faith based organization that seeks to alleviate the effects of trauma for victims of sexual abuse and exploitation.
We are currently looking for:
Required Position Qualifications
  • Fluent in oral and written communication in Cebuano. (Fluency in written and oral English preferred, but not required).
  • High school diploma (some college preferred, but not required).
  • At least 1 year experience working with children and/or teenagers in residential care settings 
  • Experience teaching bible study (teaching to young people, preferred).

Job Description and Responsibilities
  • Create, implement and monitor spiritual activities including but not limited to: Bible study sessions, prayer brigades, Spiritual Retreat, prayer for the nations and any other spiritual related activities during weekdays and weekends, including Sunday fellowship service in the community.
  • Keep written documentation of participant’s spiritual progress and activities. 
  • Work with assigned Spiritual Peer Leader in leading daily devotions and other aspects of daily program.
  • Identify and foster relationships with partner churches and other Christian organizations for spiritual strengthening activities. 
  • Assess the participant's satisfaction and impact of spiritual activities through collaborating with other house parents and receiving feedback from the participants during weekly family meetings.
  • Provide assistance to participants during study time through tutorial.
  • Create an environment of love, acceptance, care, support, encouragement and guidance.
  • Collaborate and foster relationship with internal and external partners. 
  • Responsible for developing, improving and monitoring the Spiritual Program, it’s materials and other resources. 
  • Collaborate and foster relationship with internal and external partners.  
  • Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
  • Work five (5) eight (8)- hour day shifts in a week. 
  • Spiritual Coordinator will report directly to the Clinical Team Lead of My Refuge House.
